He has lived in Jacksonville since 1983 though he spent the 90s as a college student in Gainesville. Currently the poetry editor for Compose, he holds an M.F.A. and J.D. from the University of Florida and works for the U.S. Department of the Treasury. His poems have most recently appeared or are forthcoming in, among others, Barrow Street, Colorado Review, Massachusetts Review, New England Review, and Notre Dame Review.
